Love the swift recap, esp. since it reminds me on one of my 2020 / Covid key investing thesis’s, gaming. Did you had a look into current web3 adoption of larger players like Sony, Ubisoft or Activision?
Yup, I've been paying attention to them. Sony has filed for blockchain trademarks, so hints of adoption. Ubisoft has actually built NFTs and announced them for Ghost Recon, but there was so much backlash in the gaming community they canceled it. Activision uses the term "metaverse" quite often. Basically: we're early
While I was at DGH Blockchain Summit in LA a few weeks back. I made a valuable connection with the team members of Ark Survival from Snail games. When I asked why they hadn't implemented WEB3 into their game it was apparent there is not enough trust yet in crypto.
Until we get rid of the scammer intuitions will not come in because they are afraid of getting sued into the stone ages.
Great article man. I’ve thought this same way for a couple years now. Watching. Waiting for the right outfit to make the right moves. Big Time is on that list.
As a gamer myself, the game play has to be fun but in order for it to be accepted world wide mobile gaming and free to play with easy onboarding are key! Wagmigame.io has all of that and backed by GameStop NFT, ImmutableX & Google itself is using them as their case study on how to market crypto gaming. Web3 gaming will catch on with mass adoption and who doesn’t own a cell phone anymore? #WAGMIGAMES
1) Gods Unchained and Skyweaver are not boring. This is not a problem. 2) Ingame items exchanging market can be built on other technology than NFT. This is not about technology. Game devs simply want to control the ingame items to make more money.

Agreed, scammers will for sure make it really difficult for crypto to go mainstream. We as a community need to do better to weed them out

It’s all about patience. There’s a lot of noise in the space, but I think the real players will be coming soon
Big time seems interesting, will check it out soon!
