4 daily AI routines that will change your life
I’ve built a daily routine with AI that has changed everything for me. I talk a lot about how AI can be used to build a business, but I’ve never talked about how it can be used to improve your day to day life.
These 4 routines I’m going to go over I do every single day, and have immeasurably improved every part of my personal life. If you do just even one of these daily, I promise you’ll start to see a lot of positive changes.
To start: we need to set up a project. I like to use ChatGPT for this. Projects are the most underrated AI tools ever. They allow you to upload massive amounts of context to the AI so they can give you even more personal and relevant answers.
In my project I have 3 documents. One describing my personal background (my degree, my work history, my personal goals, my personal successes and challenges). One describing my content (what I write about and create videos on, my interests, my audience’s interests, goals for my content). And another document on my business (what apps I’m building, how well they’re doing, the feature set, my vision for the apps, my business and financial goals).
Go into Google Docs and create these 3 documents. If you can’t create the 2nd or 3rd document that’s fine. As long as you have the first document built (the first one) then we can eventually work on the other 2. Get these uploaded to your new project in ChatGPT.
Now that we have our project set up, let’s talk about the 5 ways I use it every day to improve my life.
Stop doomscrolling
I have to be honest with you, I’m absolutely addicted to my phone. It’s hard for me to do 5 minutes straight of deepwork without picking up my phone and scrolling. When you primarily build your business through social media, it’s incredibly hard NOT to get addicted to the internet.
A few weeks ago I tried a new routine that changed everything for me. I created a doom scrolling chat in my ChatGPT project. Anytime I felt like doom scrolling or was in between tasks, I went to that chat and said hello. I prompted the AI so that it knew it was my anti-doom scrolling chat. I also prompted it so it would be productive for me and help me in all areas of my life.
Take this prompt below and put it into your project. Use the chat every time you feel like doom scrolling:
I am addicted to my phone. Every 10 minutes I pick up my phone and doom scroll endlessly. It is destroying my productivity and putting me in a bad mental state. I'd like to use that time now to chat with you and generate new content/business ideas, and also reflect on my current projects and goals. I want to make this chat my distraction from doom scrolling, so that when I feel like doom scrolling I instead have a productive conversation with you that leads to self reflection and more business/content ideas. What would you like to know about me so you can provide me the maximum value possible?
Build something
There truly is no feeling in the world like building something of your own. Something you created from scratch that you put together piece by piece.
Before, you needed very specialized skills to build anything. You either needed to know how to code or other skills that were gate kept from the general public.
Now with AI it’s never been easier. You can build quite literally anything by yourself. You just ask an AI how to do it.
I built my own app, so I’m constantly telling people they need to build their own as well. If I can do it I promise anyone else can too. It doesn’t require that much time either. Spend 5 minutes a day building something of your own and I promise you’ll go to sleep so much more satisfied.
Take this prompt and spend 5 minutes tonight building something of your own (this works even if you’ve never programmed before):
My 3 main interests are *your interests*. List the 5 biggest challenges in these areas that people have. Then for each challenge, give me 2 ideas for simple apps I can build to solve them. I have never programmed before, so when I choose an idea walk me through step by step how I can build it.
Reflect on your goals
Sometimes goals feel intangible. Like you have no idea what the path to those goals are or how to achieve them. With AI your goals become so much more tangible.
Every day I spend at least 15 minutes prompting AI to get more tangible steps I can take immediately to get closer to my goals. Check out this prompt and use it ASAP:
My biggest goal over the next 5 years is *name 1 single goal*
I have 15 minutes. What is one step I can take during these 15 minutes to get 1% closer to my goal?
Analyze your content
AI is the most powerful content coach in the world. If you’re currently building on social media, you need to be using AI to understand what works, what doesn’t, what you can improve on, and what your audience truly wants.
2 ways to do this, a more challenging way and a way easier way.
More challenging way: copy and paste your last 100 posts into a spreadsheet. Then upload that spreadsheet into your project. Ask the AI about commonalities around wording, phrasing, formats, time of day, topics, and hooks.
